This session will focus on preparing students for Writing Assessments (i.e. IRW, Portfolio) by emphasizing the importance of annotation and feedback. Participants will learn strategies for teaching students how to annotate texts effectively to enhance their understanding of the material. Additionally, the session will cover methods for providing constructive feedback, helping students develop insightful commentary for their essays. This dual approach aims to improve students' comprehension and writing skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for writing assessments.
